From humble beginnings to a fresh start in Seattle.
I honed my construction roots back in our midwest home state, starting as a finish carpenter specializing in bathroom and kitchen remodels. I later joined the painters union in Alabama, gaining precision and expertise, all while earning a business degree from the University of Alabama and obtaining my universal EPA certification for AC systems.
Life took an unexpected turn when my wife Brittany and I moved to Seattle with our three kids. We faced unforeseen hardships, which brought a period of homelessness. But we're not ones to back down from a challenges or chaos. We toughed it out in a tent for months before getting into a shelter, channeling every ounce of grit into building a fresh start for our family and for Brush and Broom.
On January 30, 2025, we proudly launched Brush & Broom LLP. We saw a need for genuine and honest service businesses in the Seattle home services market. People are tired of being treated like a number by large franchises. They wanted someone they can trust in their home, someone who actually cares about the finished result and shows up when they say they will. Aside from many other things, that's exactly what we set out to do.
